The musicality and expression of this instrument is phenomenal. The play is easy, yet able to drive. Handmade with the simplest of tools, she did an incredible job of workmanship as well as sound and musicality. Incredible. This is a truly musical guitar from a master of luthierie originating at the heart of the Italian school, one that continues to impress guitar after guitar. Claudia works and lives in Rome, one of my favorite cities in the world. It is and will continue to be a pleasure to work with this fine young luthier for many years to come. We record everything flat with just a touch of Reverb to relieve dryness. My goal is to record the guitar as realistically as is possible. I speak in the recordings, my thoughts about the guitar (and possibly other things?). My speaking also serves to give you my first impressions and to also give you a balance of the engineering (or lack thereof) versus the sound of the guitar. I simply do not have time to engineer much of anything. Thanks. Rich Please note that dust is an issue of late, especially with 5 humidifiers running within my gallery space. We do our best to wipe things down between each shot, but the dust can be pervasive as a result of the humidity issues required in this colder, dryer weather. I also run air purifiers within the space. It does not help that much. I have to say this out loud as I do not edit the photos. There is full transparency here, as always, in my discussions, photos, recordings, etc. It is never about tricking any of you. It is about absolute and full disclosure so that you know exactly what you are looking at any time you visit my gallery or my site. A lovely guitar that is pleasing to the ear as it is easy on the hands. As of now the guitar is strung with Knobloch mixed tension trebles and Savarez High Tension Classics in the basses. A nice mix of strings that does the guitar justice. I simply had a blast exploring and playing her. No structure of any kind to the playing, I just sat with a new guitar and discovered it along with all of you.
