Further clarification from Wilson on this guitar: ” The top, back and sides and neck are woods that I purchased from Lynn Weissenreider, the father of the late John Weissenreider, luthier. This wood was milled in Milan, Italy in 2000 and shipped to John’s shop in Boulder, CO before his death, I purchased what remained of the collection in 2017.  With the exception of the cedar top and how it is braced, this guitar is a bench copy of Andrés Segovia’s 1912 Manuel Ramirez guitar, using plans drawn by R.E. Brune. I finished assembling this guitar late November 2023.” She has voice and is quite powerful.  I’m looking forward to recording with the guitar today! He’s a character too.  Look at his photo, you can see it in his eyes!  LOL  Good guy. Wilson Burnham in his workshop   Best and feel free to give me a ring to discuss at 631-335-5447, ask for Rich About Wilson Burnham – “I hand craft classical guitars in a small studio outside of Taos, New Mexico. I use only hand tools and high quality woods to make my guitars. This allows me to make a guitar that has a true singing voice, one that is loud and has a large range of tonal colors and nuances. As a classical guitar player myself, I know the joy of playing a truly wonderful guitar – one that sings, is responsive to your playing style, is easy to play with a voice that reaches the last row of seats in a recital or concert hall, and most of all, a guitar that you fall in love with so much you never want to stop playing it. That is the kind of guitar that I make.” – Wilson Burnham   _______ Media Listening with high quality headphones or audio equipment is highly recommended including EQ manipulation, if possible. We record everything flat with just a touch of Reverb to relieve dryness. My goal is to record the guitar as realistically as is possible. I speak in the recordings, my thoughts about the guitar (and possibly other things?).  My speaking also serves to give you my first impressions and to also give you a balance of the engineering (or lack thereof) versus the sound of the guitar.  I simply do not have time to engineer much of anything.  Thanks. Rich MP3 Audio – 240810-2023 Wilson Burnham Sancha Cedar EIRW – the 1st thing that occurred to me is the power and projection of this guitar!  Bellowing almost.  Sweet voiced, clear in all registers, blooming in the basses and singing in the trebles.  Growl in the mids is another quality I look for and this guitar has that easily.  Wilson continues to impress. https://www.savageclassical.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/240810-2023-Wilson-Burnham-Sancha-Cedar-EIRW.mp3 My Solo Book of sheet music is available here if you’re interested. https://www.savageclassical.com/product/richard-f-sayage-solo-guitar-works-volume-1/ _______ Shipping Premium HSC is included in your purchase price.
