The Spruce is straight and tight grained. The Rosewoods are gorgeous. The guitar itself is so much fun, energetic, resonant against your body and so musical,lyrical and sensitive. Please note that Kenny is slowing down in terms of guitar production and other endeavors of his, which is cool, simply because he has been doing things at such a high level. Comments: See any of the other Kenny Hill Signature classical guitars that I have available. These classical guitars are silky smooth, powerful in the basses, piercing in the mids and singing in the trebles. This is one of Kenny’s latest innovations, where the Double Top, which he pretty much perfected is now combined with wood lattice bracing, achieving even more volume, while sacrificing nothing in terms of color and tonal palette. These are some of my very favorite guitars, of which I own 2 for my personal performance needs. Simply, there is very little left to be desired in a world class guitar. She is louder, sweeter, more pure in tone, if possible. She seriously cuts through the air. Awesome guitar. Certainly, sound, performance, volume and the musical nature of the guitar are all there and then some. Really, these guitars are incredible, as is this one. She really punches out at the air, while able to evince emotional and lyrical play. Nice. Easy action adjustment via the 5/32″ truss rod used in all Hill Guitars. Rather smart in creating further stability of the neck and on the fly adjustments if necessary. Believe me, this guitar just vibrates against your body, cutting the air with pure sound and music. If you sound bad, it’s your fault, not the guitar’s �� The guitar has evidence of honest play wear, nothing of significance, small nail ticks in and around the rosette, etc. I took a full on photo of the top and back for your examination.
