German Vasquez Rubio’s Hauser Model is one of his nicest guitars hands down. Pretty, full bodied voice, easy to play. Excellent work by the master luthier. The CSA RW is gorgeous, a lighter (light coffee look) to darker browns with darker streaks. The guitar plays flawlessly, with a full round voice and clarity. The gorgeous machines are an extra bonus, which were added at the owner’s request. This guitar represents his highest model build at the time, which comes in a Karura HSC The guitar has not been played that much, with nothing of any consequence to report, except for the slightest nominal play wear on the top. Impossible to photograph anything noted though I attemtped to do so using a darker exposure on the top. There is a ding on the upper bout of the back, clearly seen in the back photos. This is a sweet guitar in every regard with a full balanced and round sound with excellent volume and projection. _______ Media Listening with high quality headphones or audio equipment is highly recommended including EQ manipulation, if possible. We record everything flat with just a touch of Reverb to relieve dryness. My goal is to record the guitar as realistically as possible. I speak in the recordings, my thoughts about the guitar (and possibly other things?). My speaking also serves to give you my first impressions and to also give you a balance of the engineering (or lack thereof) versus the sound of the guitar. Easily played, on the low side of the action range, I found myself enjoying time with this guitar. She spoke well to me, asking for dynamic manipulation where appropriate. Excellent volume and projection, with beautiful coloration. In excellent condition, I found the barest evidence of nail flicks in and around the rosette and top.
