She’s so very pretty.  The Madagascar RW is superb, the Spruce top is marbled and bear clawed, and the Sloane machines simply finish her off exquisitely.  Natural taper to the body, she’s fat bottomed at 4 3/8″, but the tapering allows for a comfortable elevation to the fretboard.  His workmanship is stellar.  This guitar evidences all of Stephan’s upgrades possible regarding one of his classical guitars. Inspection within reveals his Signature stamping, also the #345 and the name “Auria” all written on the inside of the soundboard. Playing her last night, the guitar immediately came to life.  Instantly, her voice became evident.  She’s powerful (very much so), bold and direct in your face and that of your audience.  Set up to play comfortably, there is no problem driving her.  The mids are superb, as are the blooming basses and the crystal trebles.  Steve’s reputation is well deserved.  Another instant favorite. The guitar has had 1 owner since 2017, a professional who used the guitar extensively.  There exists honest play wear on the back/sides and some smallish nail marks in and around the rosette.  Professionally, the guitar was played percussively, modern style, as well as traditionally.  The only way to explain some of the bout wear along the treble and bass side of the larger bout!  LOL ….  all good, as the microphone has no eyes.  I will take up close photos for your inspection, as usual.  I have repolished the entirety of the guitar, buffing and such, cleaned the fretboard extensively, oiling her up twice to the point that the guitar looks super good. LOL and I do not like working much of late. The guitar needed the respect and it has received it from me  Steve is a wonderful builder. The guitar is strung with my own Savage Classical Guitar High Tension Strings. Steve has a 2-3 year waiting list.   This guitar is immediately available via my gallery.
