This particular minifigure, Darth Vader (Classic) was released in 2004. The pricing of these minifigures vary as they age over time. Most of the figures were released for a limited time, while stocks lasted with the series they were a part of. Therefore, many of the figures have been discontinued and are now highly collectible.
